Domincan Republic here comes New Design

6 New Design High School students have been selected for Global Potential's six-week summer program in the Dominican Republic! They will be traveling summer 2012 to do community development work in rural villages and living with host families for the duration of their stay. The application process was quite competitive so we are super proud that they were accepted. Congrats to Taylor M, Christian O, Junior B, Ashley R, Danielle H and Peter R.

CB2's Eastside Store Opening Bash

APER and CB2 had a little get together last night to celebrate the opening of the CB2 Eastside Manhattan store on 3rd Ave and 58th street. The party also marked CB2's partnership with New Design High School, which gives students the chance to work with street photographers like Backyard Bill, Eddie Newton and Street Peeper. Their pictures were on display at the store launch party and available for sale via silent auction with proceeds benefiting the high school.
